It’s not cool when a retailer leak blows a big game announcement. Just ask Bethesda, which saw its surprise Rage 2 announcement spoiled by an errant Walmart Canada listing. (I bet Pete Hines is still steamed about that.) But you know what might be even more frustrating? When your own gear store does it.
That seems to be what’s happened with the next Hearthstone expansion: As noticed and captured by Hearthpwn, a t-shirt for something called Hearthstone: Showdown in the Badlands appeared on the official Blizzard store recently.
The Badlands, as the Warcraft wiki explains, is an arid, desolate region in Khaz Modan, where “only the hardiest of creatures can survive.” It’s traditionally viewed as Horde territory but the Alliance has a presence as well, but it really doesn’t…
We’re all aware that e-waste is a big problem, at this point. When they’re not strewn across our own floors, mountains of hard drives are being unnecessarily wasted every year and the figures for how much e-waste is generated per-year are startling.
But rather than watching piles and piles of the stuff grow, there are companies out there doing something about it. One great way to tackle e-waste is to recycle electronic parts, since they’re an untapped source of rare Earth materials. Then, of course there’s the potential for a complete change in materials.
Rather than coming up with new ways to fix things after the fact, semiconductor manufacturer Infineon technologies AG has gone back to the source itself, and is looking to utilise a plant-based PCB design known as the…

There’s nothing quite like starting the week with a scare to really wake you up, and that’s what Wordle provided me today. Every new attempt to find today’s answer was just right enough to slightly narrow things down, but also wrong enough to throw me off the scent too. It wasn’t until the very last row, when I hadn’t got much of anything left to try, that I cleared today’s Wordle. Phew!

My opening attempts to unearth today’s Wordle answer left me with nothing but a single yellow to shunt around the board. After feeling a little sorry for myself I realised this meant I had pretty much nothing to lose, and that turned out to be just the strange sort of confidence boost I needed to go all out on my third guess and turn the game around.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 has had a turbulent entry to say the least. Bizarre, pointless microtransactions and performance issues have caused it to be wrung through the critical grinder on Steam. Despite that, it’s hit a very respectable 220,000+ all-time player peak already.
One particular woe that’s bothered the player-base? Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a one-save-only game, which is what it’s like in Dragon’s Dogma 1, for the record. There has, however, been a crucial difference that players are understandably upset about: You have to manually delete your save from the files if you want to start over.
I’m all for Dragon’s Dogma 2 making me live with my choices, but I do think the complete lack of an option to restart, frankly, silly. If the game wants to wipe my previous save data to…
Let’s set the scene. You’ve got the PC built, your desk is neatly tidied, and you’re ready to settle down and sink some hours into your favorite game. But something isn’t right. What could it be? Perhaps the clinical, bright lighting glaring overhead that’s pulling you from ever being able to immerse yourself into your gaming sessions?
Lighting isn’t the first thought you have when you’re setting up your gaming space but plays a huge part in taking your setup to the next level. With that said, this upgrade tends to be more on the expensive end of the scale hence why we put it off time and time again. But this is why sales events like Prime Day are the best chance you have at getting ahold of some great lighting for a much lower price.
