Prime Day may be over but there are still a surprising number of good deals on gaming laptops around. I’ve checked through the leftover Prime Day laptop deals below and any still worth buying I’ve left intact. However, you can always head to our best cheap gaming laptops deals page for up-to-date deals throughout the year. We keep that page updated regularly.
Outside of Prime Day, it’s been a pretty good time to pick up a cheap gaming laptop—we’re sifting through multiple generations of gaming laptops all with the same graphics chips inside them, mostly the RTX 40-series. That means the gaming laptops sporting 12th, 13th, and 14th Gen Intel chips, and those with Ryzen 7000- or 8000-series AMD CPUs, will have the exact same GPUs in them. This means you should be able to make some good savings on still super-relevant older models over the next few months.
Oh, and don’t limit your searching to Amazon alone. It may have been Prime Day that saw prices drop across the board, but most major retailers use Amazon’s event as an excuse to drop their own prices. That’s why you’ll find us recommending cheap gaming laptops from all over the web.

How do I become a Prime member for Amazon Prime Day?
You can become a Prime member for free for 30 days by signing up via Amazon’s Prime membership page. This will, however, require you to create an Amazon account and provide payment card details. If you only want the Prime benefits for the duration of the sale, make sure to cancel your membership before the 30 day period runs out, or you’ll be charged the subscription fee for every month after that.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?
Prime Day is over for another year. It ran from July 16-17. Though Amazon does tend to do some other major Prime-adjacent event later in the year, like its ingenuously named ‘Prime Big Deal Days’ in 2023. Rolls off the tongue, that one. That’s sarcasm, it was a terrible name.
